On Friday the 13th of feburary, LS2 went to their very first tech session of 2026.
One of the groups i was in were doing tech styles- sewing. In tech styles last year, we were designing cusions but this year we are making bags, it could be shoulder bags, handbags or even tote bags. Our teacher handed us some papers to fill in like who we would like to make a bag for and why. She first taught us how to use a sewing machine by giving us a go on paper, on the paper were lines we were tracing. On some machines were others challenging themselves to go faster and some were taking their time , going slow and steady…
An agent of change is what you would like to achive during new chapters in life. For my vision board i am hoping to try out new sports , netball and volleyball specifically. Next i want to graduate school and leave a positive influene on our juniors. after graduating i would like to try get accepted into western springs and after 4 years i want to show leadership hoping for a leader role in highschool. my plans after highschool are to get into auckland university and study communication and media therefore so i can be a radio presenter!
Kia ora, my name is Ataahua and I am a 2026 student leader. This year my goals are to participate in more activities eg sport and Paskifika. My goal for 2026 is to grow in confidence and have self belief in what I am capable of. One of my favourite things is spending quality time with my close ones. As this is my last year, my goal before I leave is to be a positive influence on our juniors.
